future generations.
This outdoor museum showcases 25 buildings, including
representative folk houses from eastern Japan, water mills, boatman's huts, raised
storehouses, and Kabuki stages. Among them are seven nationally designated Important
Cultural Properties, all of which are valuable architectural treasures designated as
cultural assets, making it one of Japan's premier outdoor museums dedicated to

Saikōji Temple, located in the northern part of Kawasaki City, was
established around the year 1400 during the mid-Muromachi period.
The main hall is
adorned with a towering 7-meter-tall statue of Shakyamuni Buddha, welcoming pilgrims.
Within the temple grounds, you'll find the only stone statue of Yakushi Nyorai
designated as a cultural asset of Kawasaki City .
