Discover The outdoor opera performance by digital direction at Nakagusuku Castle Ruins listed as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO

In the representative tourist resource of our country, "Nakagusuku Castle Ruins," designated as a World Heritage Site and a National Historic Site of Japan's Top 100 Castles, and also chosen as Japan's strongest castle (according to NHK research), we will stage the first-ever "outdoor opera with digital production" in Japan.
In Okinawa, where sunset occurs late, you can leisurely enjoy from daytime to nighttime. To make it an all-day experience, we will open a food space featuring local ingredients from noon. The main event, the opera performance, will begin at sunset, featuring digital production and a world-class opera repertoire.

There is no parking space at Nakagusuku Castle Ruins on the day.
Please park the car at "Nakagusuku Village public parking lot" and take shuttle bus service to the venue if you come by driving the car.

Exclusive use of a special space

The extraordinary space of the Nakagusuku Castle Ruins, chosen as Japan's strongest castle (according to NHK research), a World Heritage Site, will be exclusively used for this event.
Utilizing projection mapping equipment, we will create high-art visual effects that explain the opera's storyline through imagery and sense the movements of performers on the stage to project abstract motion graphics synchronized with their actions.

A first-class event featuring world-class musicians

Renowned opera singer John Ken Nuzzo, who has an illustrious career with performances at the Vienna State Opera and the New York Metropolitan Opera, as well as singing the theme song for NHK's historical drama "Shinsengumi!" and appearing twice on the NHK Kohaku Uta Gassen, will make his debut in Okinawa by participating in this project.
He will join forces with the "Ryukyu Symphony Orchestra," representing Okinawa.
